Guernsey Election 2020

Guernsey will have a General Election of People’s Deputies in June 2020. In order to vote in this election you must be registered on the Electoral Roll. A brand-new roll has been established for this election so you must re-register even if you have been registered before. The easiest way to do this is online at election2020.gg or you can fill out the household registration form that was sent to every home in Guernsey in December 2019. If you think you have not received a form and would like one please call the Election 2020 Office on 01481 747579.
Once you are registered on the Electoral Roll you have a choice of how and where you vote.
Vote in person or by post
You can vote in person at a polling station on any one of the polling days or you can opt for a postal vote. The easiest way to opt for a postal vote is online at election2020.gg or you can call the Election 2020 Office on 01481 747579 and request a postal vote application form. Please note, once you have been issued with a postal ballot pack you will not be eligible for a ballot paper at a polling station. However, you are able to deliver your completed postal ballot to a polling station if you have missed the return postal deadline.
If you decide to vote in person you have a choice of days and places to vote.
Parish polling stations (St Martin’s Parish Hall) will be open from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2020. Please note, each parish polling station is only for voters in that parish.
In addition, Beau Sejour super-polling station will be open for ANY registered Islander to vote in person from 8am to 8pm on:
Saturday 13 June
Sunday 14 June
Tuesday 16 June
Wednesday 17 June
